ETRA + VvocanegraMX
With a pop and bass-filled drive that encompasses a complex emotional kaleidoscope, Fabio and Mensik have made ETRA one of the most exciting projects to emerge from the Mexican underground. Their creative process, full of intuition and exploration, incorporates design, clothing and a synth-filled live set, expanding their sound into an immersive experience that has been performed alongside projects such as Fuckers, Merca Bae or Two Shell.
In this audiovisual performance, ETRA collaborates with digital artist Vvocanegra, in a process that combines digitized elements of daily life with photogrammetry, 3D renders and visual compositions created using the ‘ETRA’ synthesizer. By combining photogrammetry with 3D, the audiovisual work is transmuted into a raw, modern and deeply synthesized aesthetic, revealing a window into the unique world of ETRA.
