What can I expect from MUTEK MX?

From MUTEK MX you can expect the unexpected. It will be a week full of exciting activities to explore the most innovative in digital art and multimedia creativity, from October 9 to 15.

Since 2003, MUTEK MX has been presenting immersive experiences, futuristic music, cutting-edge audiovisuals, and artists who are setting the pace with technological media in Mexico and around the world, with a proposal that has made it the most important innovation festival in Latin America.

What is the location of the event?

MUTEK MX is a multi-format experience that each year takes different venues in emblematic spaces in Mexico City. For this edition, some of the venues are the Digital Dome of the Papalote Museo del Niño, the Anahuacalli Museum, Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris and Quarry Studios.

What is happening for the 2023 MUTEK MX Festival?

You will be able to live the MUTEK MX experience from October 9 to 15. You can now secure your access to all or any of the three programs announced at the moment:

  • A/Visions 1 at Digital Dome Papalote Museo del Niño: avant-garde audiovisual pieces created especially for the large IMAX format. Children over 10 years old can enter with a paid ticket.
  • A/Visions 2 at Museo Anahuacalli: explore the infinite possibilities of audiovisual narrative totally live, with performances by multimedia artists or through collaborative duos.
  • A/Visions 3 at Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris:
  • Nocturne 360 ​​at Quarry Studios: this mega convergence of national and international artists will take us on an exciting 360 tour that will range from virtual reality and immersive experiences, to cathartic dance sessions with the most challenging producers of club sound. In addition to the artists who will take on the different stages, Nocturne 360 ​​will be covered with the environmental and lighting design that distinguishes MUTEK globally.

How long does the experience last in total?

The activities of the festival will take place over a week, from October 9 to 15. You can access them according to the type of ticket you purchase. If you want to fully immerse yourself in all the innovation that MUTEK MX has to offer, we suggest you purchase the Passport. Each program is unique!

How much is the ticket?

Ticket prices vary depending on the type of ticket and the number of events included. Check our box office here and here for updated prices.

IMPORTANT: prices do not include charges.

What is the official ticket office of the event?

Official MUTEK tickets can only be purchased through Fever in the case of Passports and Single Tickets for A/Visions 1, A/Visions 2 and Nocturne 360. In the case of A/Visions 3, tickets are available on Ticketmaster .

Fever does not have a physical box office.

While for A/Visions 3 tickets, all Ticketmaster points and the Theater box office are enabled.

What is the difference between Passport and General Ticket?

A Passport is the ticket that guarantees you access to A/Vsions 1, A/Visions 2 and Nocturne 360.

A General Ticket or Individual Ticket only grants you access to the particular program or event to which it belongs, for example: A/Visions 1, A/Visions 2, A/Visions 3 in its different seating arrangement or Nocturne 360.

How many A/Visions 1 shows are there and which one can I attend?

There are two performances of A/Visions 1 open to the public on October 9, 10, 11 and 15 at 19:30 and 20:30; You can attend any of the functions on the dates and times indicated.

Unfortunately we cannot make changes or returns if the functions were chosen wrong.

Can the ticket be exchanged or returned if I cannot attend?

Due to our company policy, we do not make changes or refunds of tickets. In any case, we have something for you: give your ticket to a friend or family member and let them enjoy the Festival in your place.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It's as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever app. Contact Fever for additional help. Be sure to include your ticket order number.

In the case of a Ticketmaster ticket, print it or take it digitally, but make sure that only the person to whom you give your ticket has it.

Is my ticket valid for another day?

Tickets are purchased for a specific time slot. The time that appears on the ticket is an ORIENTATIVE TIME in order to optimize access to the event and organize the influx of public.

We cannot guarantee access to the event outside the hours indicated on the ticket when the capacity of the subsequent sessions is full. The ticket is NOT valid for another day.

If I purchased a MUTEK MX 2020 Season Ticket, what benefit do I get for this 18th Edition?

With your MUTEK MX 2020 Pass you have access to Nocturne 360 ​​on Saturday, November 26 from 6:00 p.m. From Fever, you should have received an invitation with which you can access this event. Check the email trays with which you purchased your MUTEK MX 2020 Season Ticket.

Can I make a group reservation?

If you wish to make a reservation for a group of more than 10 people, please contact the Ticket Office on WhatsApp: +52-33-3952-7449.

Can I request a refund or change on my ticket if I cannot attend?

Subject to availability, date or schedule changes, you can contact us indicating the ID of your ticket for more information. We do not offer returns at the moment. For more information you can consult our T&C.

What are the COVID safety measures?

The experience complies with the regulations in force in the Republic for the management of COVID-19.

Is there accessibility for people with disabilities?

All enclosures are accessible to people with reduced mobility, wheelchairs and strollers.

What are the age requirements?

The A/Visions 1 and A/Visions 3 programs admit children aged 12 and over with a paid ticket and in the company of an adult.

A/Visions 2 and Nocturne 360 are activities only for adults with official ID.

Is there parking availability?

The Papalote Museo del Niño and the Anahuacalli Museum have their parking service and its cost is independent of the Festival. To avoid congestion, we suggest you arrive by public transport or share your car.

Anahuacalli Museum does have bicycle parking.

Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris does not have parking. However, there are nearby parking lots open 24 hours a day. We suggest you arrive by public transport or share your car.
