With a world premiere lineup programmed by MUTEK MX in collaboration with Sebastian Mullaert, Circle of Live returns to take over the Nocturne venue with five continuous hours of collective creation and deep explorations around the dance floor with Pantha Du Prince, Leafar Legov, and Sebastian Mullaert.
This is just the beginning of a series of premieres that will make Nocturne a night dedicated, from top to bottom, to innovation. The National Front arrives with the unprecedented audiovisual collaborations of DJ Fucci x Iceblade presenting Las aventuras de Olmechabot and Lyo XS & San Joserra with Borde, in addition to a live set by producer Andy Martin.
From the international circuit, Ash Fure presents Animal, whose powerful physicality already dazzled at the Venice Biennale; AI researcher and producer Portrait XO makes her debut in the country with The Cost of Connection, a piece that sonifies a century of anomalies in climate data collected by the UN, and Seulement will bring Bricolage Arquitecture, an exploration of human vulnerability to AI through stop-motion animation, electroacoustic elements, and the physicality of elements like cardboard.
Nocturne is completed with a trio that will take us through the most contrasting aspects of contemporary electronica: we'll go beyond hyperpop with Aya, we'll reach the hot core of Tanzanian dance floors with the fast-paced DJ Travella, and Voice Actor will take us down to its ethereal and enigmatic dimension. All in one night.
