With over a decade of experience behind the decks and delivering powerful studio productions, Mexican-Jamaican DJ and producer Andy Martin has established himself as one of the most prominent artists in the Mexican electronic music scene.

His keen sense of sonic exploration as a portal to other realities has made him an essential figure on both national and international stages, while his tracks have been remixed by artists such as Deadbeat, Legowelt, and Regal86.

Andy Martin's versatility as a DJ and producer stems from the foundational principles of dub and its countless interpretations: "It's the skeleton of what electronic music is today; adding elements, subtracting elements, with reverb and delay effects and maximum feedback. All of that comes from there."

Through Mole Audio, which he also co-founded, he released Revolution (2021), a collaboration with pioneering artist Lee "Scratch" Perry, perhaps his most significant influence.

With a strong conceptual approach, Andy Martin draws elements from dub, techno, and sci-fi electronica to create narratives inspired by Mexican arts & literature, as well as ancestral knowledge.

Antiguos Astronautas (2022), Cuerpo de Obsidiana (2023), and La Creación de las Aves (2024), released on his label Diaspora Echoes, transform the works of figures such as Remedios Varo, Juan Rulfo, and pre-Hispanic civilizations into powerful sonic abstractions.

As part of the global premieres at MUTEK MX 21, Andy Martin will present a completely original live set. This will be a live preview of his upcoming full-length album, which will be released in 2026.
