Much like Bubblyfish, Glomag's Chris Burke belongs to that small sub-genre of electronic musicians known for making music out of Game Boys. Though, Glomag brings a more frenetic frame of mind to his productions, incorporating the dour gloom of eighties' electro pop acts like OMD and Depeche Mode with the kitsch gabbercore tendencies of BPM fiends like Kid606. Burke's music is alternately playful and theatrical. Though Glomag is primarily a live-oriented installation project, Burke did release a six-track mp3 release in 2002. His tracks have also appeared on various compilations over the last five years, including the 2007 Kraftwerk tribute album 8-Bit Operators.
