Javier Bustos^AR

New media artist, composer, performer and professor from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His works explore the poetics of listening and sound production from the use of new media and precarious technologies, operating between experimental music, installation, and multimedia performing arts. He participated in numerous national and international festivals.

In MUTEK ES+AR 2021, he presented "Teoría del anhelo" together with Federico Kehm, a work that is part of the series "Formas de interpretar el viento" (Ways of interpreting the wind). Magnetic fields, fluid movement, tuning forks, spinners, balloons, hoses, water and air make up a micro-laboratory of translations from technological manipulation.
