Lucas GutierrezAR
Lucas Gutiérrez is an Argentinian visual artist and industrial designer whose work spans video art, CG/3D design and real-time video. His images are known for their abstract and futuristic aesthetic and their ability to create deeply immersive environments. Lucas moves between remix culture and the development of real-time audiovisual projects, in which he fuses influences from different contexts. His narrative revolves around current dystopias and social fears from a metaphysical language full of chaos and color.
His most recent exhibitions were at The New Infinity, Berliner Festspiele, Immersion and CTM Transmediale in Germany; Llum BCN Festival d’Arts Lumíniques in Spain and at EMA Expo ММОМА in Russia. In recent years, Lucas has lectured at UdK – Universität der Künste Berlin and Kunsthochschule Weißensee in the fields of real-time visualization, spatial motion graphics and visuals.
