RampaMX
The future is dreamlike. Or so it is perceived from the powerful visual imagination of Estefany Velasquez aka Rampa, one of the most active visualists and VJs in the contemporary circuit of Mexico City. As a visual-digital artist, colors and figures have been the way to express the ideas that arise in her mind, with a technique that starts from experimenting and conversing with various sound and aesthetic languages. In addition to collaborating with numerous sonic artists from Mexico, Germany, and Colombia, Rampa has developed large-scale installations and interventions for events and festivals such as Burning Man, Coaxial Arts, and Eclipse Tonal. For her participation in MUTEK MX Edition 19, as part of the artists of the Frente Nacional Call, Rampa will be part of the visual artists who will complement various sound acts.
