What an amazing month in Mexico. A huge thank you to all of the artists that shared their music and energy, the FIC organizers for their continued support and hospitality, the hardworking and fun-loving MUTEK MX team, and most importantly all of the fans and public that came out to celebrate with us over the month of October!

With the colours of Mexico still fresh in our minds, we’ve assembled photos, videos and other memories to summarize the experience as much for those who could make it out as for those following from abroad.

For those of you newly tuning in, let’s set the stage with a reminder that the Festival Internacional Cervantino (FIC) first invited MUTEK to program several events for its 2009 edition. Following the resounding success of these events, a collaborative agreement was signed with the FIC that designates MUTEK as curator of their digital arts program over the next several years. It is thus with pleasure that MUTEK returned to and expanded its FIC program in 2010, as we further explore the incredible playground that is the city of Guanajuato, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
