MUTEK Montreal named the latest edition of MUTEK MX a "massive success that resulted in one of the best accomplished and best attended editions we have seen since the first MUTEK in Mexico was held in 2003." The MUTEK headquarters, headed by its Director Alain Mongeau, ended his report saying that "the revitalization of MUTEK in Mexico makes the horizon for the rest of our season in Latin America even brighter."

Somehow these feelings had been previously perceived by ROCKETS, who predicted that MUTEK MX 2011 would be "one of the most solid and experiential editions that has been presented in the last eight years." And during the last two weeks of October, Mexico City and Guanajuato, as part of the Cervantino International Festival, were visited by an international and national lineup of artists that included Kid Koala, Robert Henke, Brandt Brauer Frick, Murcof, Sepalcure, Mutti Randolph, Rubinskee, Paúl Marmota, Los Macuanos, Fax, Discodeine, Cubenx and Minilogue; leaving a strong sensory experience on stage and in the audience. This has been one of the objectives of the organization, in its own house and in its different international versions, to capture musical and visual experiences through creativity and new media, as FILTER Mexico perceived in its review of the A/Vision 1 event.

Afterpop noticed something very important that came to be understood throughout the Festival, the rise in the quality of Mexican Talent, "who contributed to presenting a solid lineup with their capacities." The same perception that the Los Angeles Times also had when making an extensive profile of Kevin Santana, the young producer behind Mock The Zuma within the context of MUTEK MX 2011. The above, coupled with a large new public that for the first time was part of MUTEK MX, without a doubt, manages to ratify what many say today, the MUTEK platform as one of the most important experiences in electronic music in Mexico and the world.
