There are many levels to separate and analyze about MUTEK MX Edition 9, which in general terms we can describe as a total success. Not only did we see most of the activities scheduled during the first week of October 2012 in Mexico City full, but in terms of appreciation we also perceived a growing interest in the subject of digital creativity and the different aspects of electronic music. In addition to this, we found an availability of audiences to participate and discover. All of the above amplified by the timely support of sponsors and associated media that made MUTEK MX 2012 see and sound throughout the city.

With this exercise, MUTEK MX is also taking its first steps by debuting its content in the international arena by showing itself in such influential media as XLR8R and Resident Advisor. Its presence marks its increasingly international pulse with a robust festival that is produced by a committed team of individuals and artists and activated by an audience that already anticipates MUTEK's tenth anniversary in Mexico for 2013.
