Rodrigo GarridoMX
Rodrigo Garrido is an artist who creates Sentient Sculptures, fusing artificial intelligence, digital fabrication, and computer simulations to explore and understand the human species, our minds, social constructs, and possible futures. With a background as an entrepreneur, Rodrigo has cultivated a broad perspective on the multiple facets of human invention, as well as the social structures and conditions that shape our world.
In 2024, his work has been presented at Laboratorio Arte Alameda with his solo exhibition Esculturas Sensibles / Sentient Sculptures, at Patio by Zona Maco with the work Lovers (2023), at the art fairs Clavo Seis and Qipo Art Fair and soon at Múltiple en Arte Abierto. In addition, he has participated in group exhibitions such as Mutek MX 2023 and Blast for an Aesthetic of Violence (2021, Italy).
Rodrigo was nominated for the Lumen Prize in 2023 and named artist of the week by the BBA Prize in 2024, in Germany.
