Mimi AllardCA/QC
A sound artist at heart, Montreal-based Mimi Allard has been composing and showcasing her sound design talents in the context of movie soundtracks and artistic installations. Allard’s academic training started with intermedia studies at Concordia University, before opting to further her knowledge on audio synthesis, programming, and 3D audio spatialization. Using modular synthesis, programming languages, and developing a new acoustic voice-based digital instrument, Allard searches to innovate and explore the physics, mathematics, and geometry behind sound synthesis.
