Tati au Miel also known as Tania Daniel is an artist born and raised in Montreal. Their practice draws from improvisation and collaboration as crucial entry points into their worlds of sound, performance, and installation. Their work unfolds as an ever-evolving proposition of relationality and encounter, considering space, time and presence as active collaborators in the shaping of intimate, embodied experiences that engage with quantum thinking, musique concrète and Haitian Spiralism.

Tati au Miel is a multidisciplinary artist, based in the ancestral territory of the Kanyen'kehà:ka, Tiohtià:ke, also known as Montréal. They are a DJ/producer, fashion designer, and performance artist. Their art extends beyond the usual domains of experimentation, utilizing a deconstructed approach that challenges, transforms, and plays with what is expected. They are not bound to one specific genre; working with techno, punk, and industrial. This comfort with different genres is evident in the mixes they have produced for major outlets like dublab, Rinse FM, NTS—and multiple times for n10.as. They use these outlets to express their fluidity—to Tati au Miel, the worlds of artistic exploration are infinite and transcendental. In 2019, they debuted their first EP, The Exorcism of Tania Daniel, an industrial adventure that is both disjointing and freeing.

There is a raw vitality to their work—and their performances, both musical and artistic, are chest-reverberating, insightful experiences, while their fashion is a gender-euphoric, dreamy construction on the landscape of body.
