The energy of MUTEK MX is already in the air. We are reactivating the Special Collaborations agenda, a series of activities with which we celebrate 20 years of the festival, while recognizing the cultural entities that have been a key part of the expansion of MUTEK MX as a platform for national and international artists.
Starting in August, three essential spaces for the cultural life of the City, with which MUTEK MX shares that affinity for promoting innovation and connecting with new audiences, will present audiovisual performances, workshops and installations with free access and for all ages.
Centro Cultural de España en México
With two very special events, we present this alliance with CCEMx, which will bring four essential Hispanic American artists to the heart of the Historic Center today. Sound art, cutting-edge electronics and immersive experimentation in ancient Tenochtitlán.

Suzanne Ciani MEXSYNTHCO Workshop
Join a unique experience with Suzanne Ciani, a pioneer in synthesis, sound design, and advertising. In this workshop, Ciani will explore the art of modular synthesis through the legendary Buchla 200e, her primary tool. You will learn about her innovative approach to electronic music, the manipulation of sound space, and waveform design that has positioned her as one of the most influential figures in the world of experimental music.

The CCD is essential in the history of MUTEK MX. It has hosted the different iterations of the festival's daytime program, the location of several national and international audiovisual presentations, and, for MUTEK MX Edition 20, it will host the MUTEK PRO Digi Lab program. In 2024, this alliance continues to transform, and begins with these special Collaborations, which bring us closer to some of the brightest creatives in the city's audiovisual scene in concerts and workshops:

MUTEK MX Recomiends: OFFF MX
From MUTEK MX we extend the invitation to the entire creative community interested in delving into the processes, experiences, ideas and challenges behind creative projects conceived by artists, firms and collectives from Mexico and the world. There will be two days of workshops, conferences and special activities around Artificial Intelligence, immersive experiences, XR and VR, 3D animation, illustration, design, art direction, photography and UX.
