With A/Visions 1 and 2, plus the intensive/expanded journey of Nocturne ³⁶⁰ in a new location within Mexico City, MUTEK MX continues its relentless path of evolution and refinement. From November 23 to 27, new audiences and the community that the festival has cultivated and captivated over almost 20 years, will live the vertiginous series of experiences, reflections and sensations that MUTEK detonates.

A/Visions 1

Every edition since 2012, the Domodigital of Papalote pauses its programming focused on science, anthropology and astronomy to make way for the digital creativity and meta-narratives of A/Visions 1. This MUTEK MX program, which presents pieces specifically designed for the immersive format in global and national premieres, takes the audiovisual experience to its maximum scale: a hemispherical screen with a diameter of 23 m and a height of 13 m at its zenith, which generates a 360º field of vision.

A/Visions 2

For the second time in the history of MUTEK MX, the esplanade of the Anahuacalli Museum will be transformed into an altar for synesthesia, receiving only live audiovisual presentations for the iconic program A/Visions 2. This contrast between the ancient energy of Anahuacalli and the avant-garde mix of visual media, sound art and the intensity of the live act of this program, will deliver one of the most captivating experiences of the 18th Edition.

Nocturne 360

Nocturne ³⁶⁰ is the most intense and diverse day of the MUTEK MX experience before which, simply, there is no choice but to surrender. With infinite universes contained in a single venue, the rooms, installations and passageways of Nocturne ³⁶⁰ will be transformed with the ideas, visions and experiments that the most advanced electronic music and digital art have to offer.
