We are pleased to officially present the call for artistic projects for our 19th Edition that will take place from October 9 to 15, 2023 in different locations in Mexico City.
The pillars of the call revolve around the following points (IMPORTANT TO READ EACH ISSUE CAREFULLY):
- To participate, they must be of legal age and belong to the following groups: artists of Mexican nationality or foreign artists with residences established in Mexican territory. With the intention of continuing our initiatives in favor of equality and visibility, we encourage to apply women; sex-generic diversities; people with disabilities; indigenous people; afro-descendants and/or belonging to ethnic minorities.
- Submit an unpublished work that includes the following profiles: live, original musical performances within the field of electronic music that is presented in the different editions of our network; audiovisual performances that present an innovative use of digital techniques and tools; urban installations and architectural mapping; interactive installations that can be imagined in the social space and in places intervened by MUTEK.
- The projects submitted must include in their application a creation log indicating the dates and tools used in the process. This call seeks to promote artistic creation and expose it within the framework of the Festival's celebration both in its digital media and in the different physical spaces to intervene during our 19th Edition.
- Applications will be open from 0:00 on Saturday, April 29, 2023 until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, that is, each applicant will have 48 hours to submit their proposal using the form provided. IMPORTANT: Proposals sent via email or that have not completed all the requirements set forth in these lines will not be considered.
- We will communicate internally (via email) with the selected proposals on Thursday, June 15, 2023 and we will announce their participation between the months of August and September together with the rest of the artists confirmed for our 19th Edition.
IMPORTANT: IT IS ESSENTIAL TO COMPLETE ALL THE BOXES ON THE FORM.

Through the Gastronomic Route circuit, MUTEK MX seeks to generate connection and community between the national and international artists, agents and guests of the festival, from the most iconic gastronomic and leisure spaces in Mexico City.
