MUTEK MX Edition 20: First Confirmations + Passports y Nocturne 360 Passes

With a program that includes key artists in MUTEK MX history, such as Alva Noto, Daito Manabe and Robert Lippok, along with creatives from the new global avant-garde such as Daniela Huerta & Natalia Escobar as Koaxula, Nick León & Ezra Miller, Amnesia Scanner & Freeka Tet and Sega Bodega, Edition 20 will be an intense crossover between the generations, visions and narratives that have developed alongside the festival over 20 years, and those that are beginning to emerge in the exciting contemporary panorama.

As part of this transdisciplinary lineup, we also highlight DjRUM’s Mexico debut, and the return to Mexico of producer and multi-instrumentalist David August in his most experimental phase, who will present a transmedia performance developed especially for the location in which it will be presented.

Iregular and SPIME.IM, both collectives, and artists such as Ali Phi, Martin Messier and Boris Acket will bring immersive experiences, interactive installations and high technological experimentation to the festival. Meanwhile, the most forward thinking takes on pop, dub, dancehall, techno, gabber and drone at a global level will arrive Edition 20 with No Plexus, Animistic Beliefs, Malibu, NSDOS, Tati Au Miel and Honeydrip with MC King Shadrock and the setting by Emma Forgues.

This is just the beginning. More confirmed artists will soon be announced, as well as the Frente Nacional 2024 Call selected projects, MUTEK PRO Digi Lab day program, collaborations with cultural institutions celebrating our 20th anniversary and the locations of this year festival edition. → Nocturne 360 1 (Friday, October 18) and Nocturne 360 ​​2 (Saturday, October 19), the most intense and diverse MUTEK MX program in a double day. Performances, installations, immersive experiences, audiovisual collaborations and multidisciplinary avant-garde with more than 50 national and international artists.

What does the Passport NOT include?
