From MUTEK MX we recommend the fifth edition of MEXSYNTHCO, the largest synthesizer conference in Latin America. Below, you will find the details of one of the flagship events of our collaborators, which characterize the creative effervescence that is experienced 24/7 in the City and warm up the engines for our 20th anniversary.

¿WHAT IS MEXSYNTHCO?

The MEXSYNTHCO community is diverse, with participants from Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina and Spain. The conference has also featured international guests such as Mark Verbos (Verbos Electronics), Nick Valente (Moog Music) and Tony Roland (Make Noise), along with renowned local artists such as Ramón Amezcua (Nortec), Alejandro Rosso (Plastilina Mosh) and Jorge Soto (Moenia), among many others.

MEXSYNTHCO is a 100% community-driven festival, where attendees contribute by teaching workshops, showcasing their musical projects or sharing their knowledge through initiatives such as #OpenMic or #PlugAndPlay.

¿WHERE?

The Centro Cultural de España en Mexico has been a technological hub for our city for the past 20 years. This incredible space has hosted numerous artistic initiatives, from exhibitions, art fairs, music festivals, numerous workshops and also the largest Synthesizer Meeting in Latin America.

Just one block from the Zócalo, an emblematic place in the city, where ancient Aztec temples, historic buildings and spaces where sound art and the avant-garde energize cultural life and creative communities converge.
