At WARP they celebrate two decades of being witnesses and accomplices of the most relevant cultural movements in the world, and for their main celebration, we have decided to join forces in an effort that is born from a shared vision of the avant-garde, sound art and constant innovation.
To materialize this historic collaboration, we are proud to officially announce the return to Mexico City of one of the brightest minds on the global scene: Max Cooper, who will present his acclaimed 3D AV Live: Feeling is Structure Tour.
Max Cooper: Where science becomes conceptual art
To talk about Max Cooper is to talk about a craftsman of immersive experiences. With a PhD in computational biology, the British producer and visual artist has achieved what few others have done: fusing the complexity of science, data and technology with deep emotional sensitivity.
His3D AV show Live: Feeling is Structure is a statement about how Cooper understands the relationship between abstract ideas and direct emotional experience; is a living installation where hyper-detailed sound design and three-dimensional visual narratives envelop the viewer, transforming the space into a digital canvas where sound can be almost palpable.
A cutting-edge alliance
With the additional participation of The Bionic Harpist & Techno Para Dos: Fran•gere as special guests, this event promises to be engraved in the memory of the capital's nightlife, being the materialization of WARP's identity after 20 years of recording and shaping alternative culture in Mexico, added to the curatorial vision and technical rigor that has always characterized the MUTEK network.
