Web 3.0, the crypto-economy, Self-Managed Digital Identity and other emerging technologies constitute such a radical redefinition of the rules that they push us to look for new ways of doing things. This panel reviews current implementations of marketplaces for electronic music; sui generis decentralized platforms type DAO 2 or DApps 3 with bold UX/UI experiences and a clear alliance to experimental visual culture, as well as the legal implications in new income models, royalty distribution and the role of transparency and traceability in the socialization of electronic music.

"The consequences of this crisis have been abrupt, revealing the fragility of our structures and the fatigue of our teams," states an open letter published by 16 Montreal festivals, including MUTEK, in February 2023. Festivals in both Mexico and abroad struggle with similar issues of financial resilience, staffing capabilities, community accessibility and inclusion, as well as sustainability in the wake of the current climate crisis. This panel is designed to give festival creators the opportunity to delve into the practical issues of addressing the challenges facing festivals of the future.

Lounge Morphus is a new immersive experience that can only be enjoyed in its entirety during MUTEK MX week, first as part of Digi Lab, and then in one of the #Nocturne360xKIA rooms.
Lounge Morphus is made up of two elements that, combined, generate a meta-immersive, novel and highly experimental experience. The first element is a large format audiovisual installation created from the InSpace, which will project work by Sabrina Ratté, Alba G. Corral and INTUS artists. Within this installation, there are 10 individual spaces to enjoy the second element: the Morphus experience, developed by Atra Studio. Morphus is a piece of furniture that has a sensory system that isolates outside sound and generates vibro-acoustic frequencies and electromagnetic pulsations designed to generate a fully harmonious and meditative effect between mind, body and spirit. Thus, the audience enjoys an immersive installation while waiting for their turn for the Morphus furniture experience, which lasts 10 minutes.
