Electronic artist and research professor attached to the Department of Arts and Humanities at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. He specializes in the creative and aesthetic possibilities arising from the intersection of sound, digital technologies, and interactivity.

He completed his undergraduate studies in piano at the National School of Music of the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), his Master of Arts and Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a DEA in Computer Science and Digital Communication at Pompeu Fabra University, and his PhD in Digital Arts and Experimental Media at the University of Washington. He has exhibited his works and performed in concerts nationally and internationally thanks to scholarships and support from various institutional programs such as FONCA, UNAM, TELMEX, MIT, University of Washington, DXARTS, IMEB-Bourges, the Multimedia Center, Transitio_MX, and Leonardo, among others.

He develops academic research and artistic production, both specializing in the intersection of the fields of art, science, and technology. He belongs to the PiATS Research Area (Practice as Research in Art, Transdisciplinarity, and Sound). He also collaborates with the Art, Science, and Technology Studies Area, part of the Department of Arts and Humanities at the Metropolitan Autonomous University.

His most recent publications are the result of his work in recent years. He recently published the book "The Process in the Production of Electronic Art" (2019) and has contributed to several publications, such as the chapter "Delta 16.57/-99.00" available in the book "Communities and Contexts in Contemporary Artistic Theories and Practices" (2016).

He is a member of the National System of Art Creators of Mexico and the National System of Researchers (Level I). He is currently the Head of the Department of Arts and Humanities at the Metropolitan Autonomous University, Lerma Unit.
