MUTEK MX Edition 18 Kickoff
Welcome everyone! It's official: MUTEK MX is back with an intense agenda designed to reconnect audiences avid for avant-garde and experimentation with national and international artists and creatives who are making new media and technological platforms a space for expression.
With the first functions of A/Visions 1 in the digital dome of the Papalote Interactive Museum, a week of surprises, reunions, discovery and innovation is officially inaugurated. We are waiting for you in each of the activities, both in the official programming and in the extended program. Thank you for being part of MUTEK MX!
A/Visions 1: two shows on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ** Check the date and time of your performance on your ticket, we can NOT make performance changes.
A/Visions 1 takes the audiovisual experience to its maximum scale: a hemispherical screen 23 m in diameter and 13 m high at its zenith, for a 360º field of vision.
A/Visions 2: Thursday, November 24, 8:30 p.m.Dedicated to highly contemplative experiences where the environment is crucial, A/Visions 2 comes to the Anahuacalli Museum for the second time in MUTEK MX history.
Nocturne 360: Saturday, November 26, 6:30 p.m.This mega convergence of national and international artists will take us on an exciting 360 tour that will go from virtual reality and immersive experiences, to cathartic dance sessions with the most challenging producers of the club sound.
Digi Lab: workshops, conferences and communityDigi Lab, the MUTEK MX day program, is a platform for the exchange and generation of knowledge around art and digital sound that, for Edition 18, comes in a hybrid format and with activities that extend to different locations in Mexico City. This year the special collaborations with INTUS and HOLAWAVE stand out. Visit their studios!
Extended ProgrammingDuring Edition 18, the experiences in art and technology extend to different locations in CDMX, thanks to the special collaborations of this edition.
Each of these activities is added to the MUTEK MX programming to amplify the meeting spaces between artists and audiences during the most important digital art week of the year. The schedules, access dynamics and operation are the responsibility of each promoter, independently of the organization of the festival. No MUTEK MX tickets are necessary to attend.
