Having carefully analyzed all of our options, we have concluded that all the conditions required in order to throw a festival with the highest quality standards in all regards have not been met, and we're still vulnerable.
The 18th Edition of MUTEK MX will happen between November 23 and 27 of 2022 in Mexico City. We thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the past months, and we want to reaffirm our commitment with you, our audience.
While we’re preparing our next experience in Mexico, we celebrate the return of MUTEK JP with a sixth edition that will become a space to gather our audience in Tokyo as well as all visitors, in a safe way, being able to fully experience and enjoy the Festival. This new gathering will be broadcasted in the virtual platform of MUTEK between December 8 and 12 and will be the precursor to our 2022 edition, with the return of live music, audiovisual experiences and the never-ending expansion of digital arts and multimedia.
