Julieta GilMX
Visual artist, currently based in Mexico City. She holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master's degree in Art and New Media from UCLA. Her work has been shown in national and international institutions, including SCAD Museum of Art, Nevada Museum of Art, Palm Springs Art Museum, Storefront for Art and Architecture, Museo Tamayo, Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes, Laboratorio de arte Alameda, Centro de Cultura Digital, among others.
She taught in the art and technology programs at UCLA and the University of Oregon. Her research explores concepts of memory and public space through video, installation, 3D simulation, and sculpture.
