The multidisciplinary group behind Architecture Social Club returns to the design of audiovisual experiences in collaboration with musician and producer Max Cooper, to give us Parallels, a new bet to expand our notion of space.

This experimental hybrid between architecture, lighting and sound takes the tones and movements of the natural landscape to abstract extremes, to create an environment of absolute light through thousands of laser beams, in an oscillation underpinned by Max Cooper’s sound design. Thus, a new synesthetic space opens up to envelop us with ethereal fragments of natural phenomena that pulsate, fade and flicker as if following a choreography, alternating between serenity and chaos.

Architecture Social Club and Max Cooper make up one of the most fascinating duos in contemporary digital art; their collaborations are part of the amazement in great galleries, museums and avant-garde festivals around the world. After showing the potential of Aether, an installation that had one of its first exhibitions within MUTEK Mexico in 2019 and which was part of the most recent edition of MUTEK Montreal, the collaboration between Architecture Social Club and Max Cooper literally grows with Parallels, which will have its mainland premiere during Nocturne 360.
