Cashu is pure fire. Whether in front of the decks or as a promoter, Carolina Schutzer's incendiary energy opens paths, encourages movement and triggers reflection. Together with Carneosso, producer and artistic director, she co-founded the legendary collective-platform Mamba Negra, aimed at breaking centralism and extending networks from and to the Brazilian periphery through launches, events and collaborations that start from the creation of a space of freedom and expression for the queer community.
With sets that contrast bass, breaks and techno with strongly percussive international influences, Cashu takes us through an energetic flow that keeps the body in a dynamic state while the mind ventures between hooks and abrasive rhythms. A favorite on the dancefloor of international festivals such as Dekmantel and Sónar, Cashu will offer the only DJ set of Edition 19: a moment to surrender to one of the most powerful natural forces to come out of the Brazilian night scene.
