NSDOSFR
From NSDOS practice, everything can be hacked: technology, the body, expression, the way we connect with the environment. With this unstoppable curiosity to transform the digital, social and spiritual devices that come into our lives by default, Kirikoo Des has expanded his artistic practice from dance to transmedia, creating a space that rethinks dance music from every variable.
NSDOS hacker instinct is best appreciated live: the machines, software, sound and body movement detonated from the stage are the result of an incisive procedure of readjustment and transformation that extends to the audience. In this immersive experience, NSDOS dismantles the creative process and any intermediation between musical creation and its effect on the body, space and community.
Offstage, Kirikoo Des maintains his exploration as part of community spaces dedicated to the use and creation of free technologies, transmedia collaboration and ethical exploration between the body, the collective, such as EightOS and, between one album and another, he immerses himself in deep research and empirical experimentation that inspire each of NSDOS releases. At MUTEK MX, he arrives with his latest live A/V, a surround sound and augmented dance experience that builds on his most recent releases, ///champignonner.photomontage.ultrasonique Vol. 1 and Vol. 2
